All in Good time ...

Greetings Troops,

June is here ... and with that the heat and humidity of Virginia is well upon us as well.  Things are slowely getting into a decent pace for the summertime.

My family and I attended the Barenaked Ladies concert the other night and had a blast !  Old favorites and songs from the new album were played.  I have been a fan of theirs for a long long time and was so happy to finally see them in concert.  It was a great night.

The next morning I attended my National Registry of Emergency Technicians Intermediate (Paramedic) practical and passed in the first wave.  It was a long day but I was happy to have that completed.  I have to complete the written portion still.

I finally found my digital camera ! It was MIA for some time till a search party found it ....

With that noted .... I present 2nd squad, 1st platoon of Able company.

Last night I was the GM for a Star Wars RPG game which included Steve, of What Would Patton do? fame, his wife Lydia, of Iron Lydia fame and Sean, of the Kneel B4 Blog fame.  It was the initial character forming and fleshing out of rules but it was fun.  Hit my blog, Planet's Doom for the in game read coming soon.

I also primed a Wild West character for our Legends of the Old West games.  I can't wait to get him painted and moving on the streets.

I hope all is well in your foxholes ....... sound off if you need anything.

Joe

  1. Hi
Those are some nice painted minis.
I would also cover and paint the little bases of the minis. That would even make look better.
    Just an advise.

  2. Thanks Hein, I am still perfecting my technique with the bases ..... I may base em and then base coat them ... since I have trouble and no patience to get between the legs if painted and then based ...
